Tip #2: Do you ever find yourself trying to figure out what to make for dinner and then decide you have to go to the store to get everything you need? Well, when we were in college I decided to start making a weekly meal plan and go to the grocery store once a week. This has saved us a lot of money and time from going out to eat and also not going to the store every day. I invested in one of these for a couple reasons. One so the hubs would stop asking me every five seconds what we were having for dinner (this really hasn't helped it, sometimes I'll refuse to tell him because I've already written it down...I just like to tease him). Two it helps make the grocery list, so I don't have to go to the store every day either. I'll even write when I want to have a date night :), how can the hubs say no when it's on the meal plan. :) If you're not filling like eating something the night it's on the meal plan, you have several meals to choose from.
Tip #3: Try and keep Taco Seasoning, Dressing Seasonings, and Gravy packets on hand. This really helps when you have to put something together at the last minute.
