Easy Donuts and Donut Holes

We just returned from Vegas, needless to say we are still recuperating and I didn't want to make a trip to the store. I had pillsbury dough boy biscuits on hand and they were close to expiring, so I decided to make donuts. It doesn't take long to make and requires few ingredients.

Ingredients
Pillsbury dough boy Biscuits
Oil for frying
Granulated Sugar, Powdered Sugar, and/or Nutella

Heat up oil in a medium saucepan. Set aside a plate and place several paper towels or napkins on top which will help drain some of the excess oil. Use a mini cookie cutter to make the donut shape, if you don't have one use an old medicine bottle or spice jar. Drop the dough into the prepared oil, flip over and remove from the pan when you get a nice golden brown color (I left a couple of mine in too long, they still tasted good though). Put about half cup of sugar of your choosing into a brown paper bag, drop a couple donuts and donut holes into the bag at a time and shake until you get a good coating. If you have it you can spread (sts) Nutella on top of the donuts, this is the preferred kind in my household.  Viola, it's an easy and tasty treat.

Good use for old spice jar
